BOB BABER - THE FOUNDER
I always wanted to run my own company, be my own boss, make my own schedule, set and accomplish my own goals. A USA Today newspaper article I read in 2002 stuck in my head as a realistic way to do this. The story was about a man who started a pooper scooper business in the Washington, D.C., area that became very successful. He discovered that lots of dog owners needed and wanted this service.
I have always loved dogs. I had three dogs back then: a German shepherd, a black lab, and a pointer mix. I was well aware of the daily challenges of cleaning up our pup’s poops, and I had developed a very efficient way of scooping. Fast forward to 2009 when I was downsized from my company. This is when Ginny and I decided it was time to start Dog Butler.
We are very proud of what we have built. We’ve got a great team of trained, insured, and conscientious dog waste removal technicians. We look forward to helping you say goodbye to daily scoop duties!
UPDATE:
June 2023 Bob passed away suddenly. We miss him dearly but will continue keeping the business strong with great customer service, reasonable rates and dependable, professional service.
